Back to Eden

Award winner at the 2013 Green Unplugged Film Festival, official selection at the 2011 Awareness Film Festival

Back to Eden (directed by Dana Richardson and Sarah Zentz) shares the story of Paul Gautschi’s lifelong journey, learning how to get back to the simple, productive organic gardening methods of sustainable provision. After years of backbreaking toil in ground ravaged by the effects of man-made growing systems, Paul has discovered what he believes God intended for mankind in the Garden of Eden. None of the vital issues facing agriculture today — soil preparation, fertilization, irrigation, weed control, pest control, crop rotation and pH issues — exist in the unaltered state of nature or in Paul’s gardens and orchards. Back to Eden invites viewers to take a walk with Paul as he shares the sustainable organic growing methods, suitable for use in diverse climates, that have garnered the interest of visitors from around the world.
