Plastic is Forever

Director: Dylan D’Haeze

Winner of Best Environmental Film at San Francisco’s Ocean Film Festival.

Plastic Is Forever is the first film in a documentary series, Kids Can Save the Planet. Dylan, a 13-year-old from Orcas Island, made the film as he was learning about plastic pollution and how it was affecting the planet in a very bad way. He made the film to help kids understand the seriousness of the problem and give them ideas about how to solve it.

Dylan is the recipient of the Festival’s Local Hero Award.
