The Whale Bowl

Director:  Emily George

Lolita – often called “the world’s loneliest orca” – is a 20-foot-long, 50-year-old female southern resident orca, who has been kept in the smallest orca tank in America for the last 46 years with only several dolphins for company.

Driven by the desire to raise awareness about orca captivity, The Whale Bowl aims to educate and inspire its audience through a unique combination of artistic animation and archival footage that illuminates Lolita’s truly moving story.
