Directors: Cyril Dion and Mélanie Laurent

Winner of Best Documentary from the Cesar Awards and nominated for a Lumiere Award

In 2012, the journal Nature published a study led by more than 20 researchers from the top scientific institutions in the world predicting that a portion of mankind could disappear between 2040 and 2100. The study also said that this could be avoided by drastically changing our way of life and taking appropriate measures. In response to this dire prediction, filmmakers Dion and Laurent traveled the world in search of solutions to the environmental and social challenges that we now face.

During their journey, they met the pioneers who are re-inventing agriculture, economics, energy, and education. Highlighting the specific and positive actions that are already working, Tomorrow is the first documentary that has gone down such an optimistic road, encouraging local communities around the world to change the way they live knowing that these changes will make a difference on a global level.
