Plan now to attend the 2025 Friday Harbor Film Festival, a 4-day in-theatre celebration of compelling, thought-provoking documentaries screening across four walkable venues in the charming seaside town of Friday Harbor, WA.

This year’s festival will feature 25+ award-winning feature documentaries and three short film blocks, including the inspiring Student Film Showcase on Thursday, October 23. Fest highlights include:

✨ Opening Night Gala – Friday, October 24
Celebrate opening night with the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award and a screening of a special documentary film.

🎬 Filmmaker's Forum– Saturday, October 25
Connect with visiting directors and participate in a Q&A with fimmmakers following a panel discussion about the process of making a documentary film.

🏆 Audience Choice Awards Ceremony – Sunday, October 26

All festival screenings in 2025 will offer reserved seating—a first for FHFF. Pass holders can plan ahead and select their seats in advance for every screening, with exclusive early access windows before general ticketing opens on October 10.
