MY COUNTRY NO MORE is an intimate portrait of rural life in a North Dakota oil town as one family struggles to stop their farmland from being industrialized, and keep their community whole.


ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

Jeremiah Hammerling is a director / cinematographer for Los Angeles based production company Endless Eye along with co-director Rita Baghdadi. He got his start directing music videos for artists such as Mayer Hawthorne in Chicago, IL where he received his BA in film at Columbia College. His directorial debut feature documentary A Message from the East had its international premiere at the Beirut International Film Festival in 2010. As co-director of My Country, No More Hammerling is a 2015 Film Independent fellow and recipient of the International Documentary Association Pare Lorentz award in 2014. His work has taken him throughout South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa and has been featured on PBS, CNN, and ESPN.
