About the Production

Decade Pictures recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Ashley Martin [@ashleyjosephmartin], a woodworking artist and designer whose passion for his craft is obvious. Together, we created a mini-documentary that takes viewers into his creative process.

Ashley's work is an intimate and meticulous process of rendering objects that evoke mystical qualities; it's as if he pulls them out of a deep, unexplored inner realm to share with us. Their origin may be mysterious, but once completed, Ashley's sculptures are flowing, textured, and tangible, and speak to the viewer of natural, organic forms.
