Hanna, a girl from Sweden starts a school for Pakhiwas (Nomads) in Lahore, Pakistan. This school in a tent is changing the lives of the most unprivileged of society.

Director Statement

I met Hanna last year and found her story an exceptional one. Through this film, I wanted to share Hanna’s journey as well as her students.

About the Director

After graduating in film production, Umar started producing and directing documentaries and short films, which have been screened in more than 100 film festivals around the world. His films have won several awards in Europe and the USA. Umar was part of the Sesame Street production in Pakistan (A project by USAID). He has programmed and curated numerous film festivals in Pakistan too. He is teaching film production at the University of the Punjab and The University of Lahore. He is also distributing Pakistani films to the international market.
