The 13th Annual Friday Harbor Film Festival (FHFF) is almost here, bringing four exciting days of award-winning documentaries, filmmaker Q&As, and community celebration to Friday Harbor, WA from October 23–26, 2025.

This year is already one for the record books. We received over 180 submissions—the most in our history—and will be screening our largest lineup ever:
34 feature films
21 short films in three curated blocks
14 short films in two free Young Filmmaker Showcase events

Now Available Online – Digital 60-Page Program Guide
The 2025 Friday Harbor Film Festival Program Guide is now online! Inside you’ll find details on 34 feature films, 21 shorts, the Young Filmmakers Showcase, and special events like the Opening Night Gala and Filmmakers Forum. A printed 60-page version will also be available in early October. Start exploring the festival and plan your weekend today!
Saturday, Sept 20 – Eventive Online Film Guide Released
Explore the festival film-by-film with detailed descriptions, trailers, and filmmaker bios. Whether you are using a pass or buying individual tickets you can return to this guide to reserve your seats once reserved seating opens.
Thursday, Sept 25 – Eventive Online Schedule Posted
See the entire weekend at a glance, organized by day and time. This makes it easy to avoid overlaps, plan your personal itinerary, and coordinate with friends. Just like the Film Guide, the Schedule links directly to ticketing—so once reservations open, you can lock in your seats right from the schedule view.
Friday, Sept 26 – Patron Pass & Filmmaker VIP Reserved Seating Opens

Wednesday, Oct 1 – All Access Pass Reserved Seating Opens
With an All Access Pass, you’ll unlock advance reservations for the entire festival lineup—ensuring you don’t miss the films at the top of your list.
Saturday, Oct 4 – Sales & Reserved Seating Open for All Other Pass Types
Beginning October 4th, 6-Pack Passes, Day Passes, Gala Tickets, and Individual Tickets will be available for purchase. As soon as you buy, you can reserve your seats immediately. Become a FHFF Ambassador
New this year! With a record number of attending filmmakers, FHFF is launching the Ambassador Program to help meet their housing needs. You can become an FHFF Ambassador in two ways:
Host a filmmaker in a qualified guest space (cottage, ADU, or apartment with a separate entrance). To learn more and apply, email us at info@fhff.org and we will reach out with details.
